Street Fighter 2 CPS1 Chain Demonstration

Very short demonstration video of what a CPS-1 chain is.

Combo used in this video is done using Ryu. Input commands are:
Standing LK, Crouching LK, (Joystick in neutral position) LK + HP, Hadouken.

American notation:
Standing short, Crouching short, (joystick in neutral position) short + fierce, hadouken.

CPS-1 chains can be done by any character with a rapid short.

Use of CPS1 chain combo, as the name suggests, means that you can only perform them on CPS-1 games, which include Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition, and Hyper Fighting. They can only be performed on the arcade versions. All future Street Fighter 2 games were made on CPS-2 hardware.

nope... only on CPS-1 hardware... i.e. arcade SF2, SF2:CE, SF2:HF

it works only on the cps1 games of anniversary, ww, ce and hf.

Invincibility is nice to have, but I prefer having the CPS1 back cuz it leads to redizzies.

a little bit. i think the killer was removing the "invincibility" from the all you can punch. they became mere mortals after that point. super sf2 also had a transsexual announcer and dumbed down sound effects (it would make a slight noise instead of the hard hitting sounds when you hit with fierce or the all you can)

Powerful stuff. When they took CPS1 chains out of ST, Ryu and Guile suddenly become half the men they were before.
