360 years of Trooping the Colour - Queen Elizabeth II's Birthday Parade 2011
BBC

The Field Officer gives the command, "Officers, take post." Nos 1 to 5 Guard then "retire", about-turning and right-forming into review formation. Nos 1 to 5 Guard then about-turn again as the Corps of Drums play. (Since No. 6 Guard is already standing at right angles to the other five companies it does not need to execute this movement.)
Once intervals are established, the Field Officer salutes the Queen and informs her that the Foot Guards are ready to slow-march, then commands, "Guards will march past in slow and quick time!" and orders the slow march.

  • @rafflesman The BBC do a good job covering events overall but some of the commentators start to think they have to be constantly talking and I agree HD is quite annoying

  • @Freepepsi42 Haha, too true! They are a little sloppy...

  • @quadsareforgirls i hope they run classes on how to form berets, cause i've seen some funky looking ones.

  • @helmsdeep84 Sorry, what I meant was, I would like the BBC days to end. It`s really important: the corporation is required to be impartial. If it is so, then it means that its audience is being respected. The audience is required to pay a tax, even if they don`t watch the BBC. The BBC abuses that enormous national tax by giving its warped view to the audience - man-haters like Jo Brand, rigged Question Time panels and audiences, disproportional time to twits like the Liberty director.

  • @transonicbuoy1 why is that?

  • toe tappin Queen 13:06

  • Some one should make a time laps some day from above, would be cool to see how the guards and band moves.

  • I think it'd be better if the band just broke directly into the quick march without that interlude of silence at the end of the slow march past.
