I studied with Allen my first two years as a student back in 1974-75. I have never had a physical problem with my hands or wrists. There are other drummers out there that I know could use some help. For some of you with problems: do NOT get any surgery! Most of this can be solved by changing your technique. Reach out to Allen. Good luck and stay creative! - Billy Martin
