Honour Killing

Recently in the month of June there was a horrendous crime committed which was classified by the so called media people under Honour Killing and part of Islam. However in this video we demand as practicing Muslims the proof for such a statement. There is nothing and on the contrary everything to oppose such a flagrant deed.

The west has honor killings by the thousands every year, but they give it a different name, in their they call it, "a crime of passion". When a man sees his wife in bed with another man, and he kills his wife and most probably that other man, it's "a crime of passion" if a Muslim does it it's called "honor killing". Such hypocrisy and such double standards!!!

I think within any wider community, something that is unknown or "foreign" will automatically be stigmatized. When "honor killing" reaches headlines, people (the media) will try find something that excludes the people involved from the wider community. In this case it will be the family being Muslim, whether this has anything to do with the honor killing or not, it's irrelevant because it's news and people don't want to associate themselves with killers...so the scapegoat becomes Muslims.

i dont judge anyone. the bible teaches me to love my neighbor and to judge not. i dont know what they do in some places, but christians here dont believe in honor killings. christianity has had a bloody past, though. the catholics were some mean people back in the 14 and 1500s. i have seen muslim women in my town here in tennessee, and they act very nice. there are bad people in all religeons. i prefer to read my bible at home. Christ taught us to beware of wolves in sheeps clothing.

honor killings happend also between christians but nobody talks about it. From wikipedia: "in Brazil, until 1991 wife killings were considered to be noncriminal 'honor killings'; in just one year, nearly eight hundred husbands killed their wives. Similarly, in Colombia, until 1980, a husband legally could kill his wife for committing adultery'.Also it was a serious problem for Sicily and Palestin.
