  • Nice little job, very eco friendly too using charcoal and pedal blower...girls blacksmithing are rare, keep hammering! And use a file to take the handle to the right size for your hand, then wax it, you will hit harder with less effort

    bye

  • Thanks but im not a girl!! Im a just a longhaired boy. This was a fairly long time a go, im had nearly just started do blcksmithing. Now im have a real shop with a big forge, powerhamer and a great upset of machines and many hammers much better than that one im was used in this video.

  • that is a beautifull forge machine is it home made ??

  • No, it´s a old Norwegian fieldforge, who the military was use. This one is in very good condition.

  • what kind of anvil is that???... and who manufactures it??.... I would love to have anvil like that..... oh by the way great job

  • It´s a swedish freeform forged anvil, they was produced mostly in the 18:th century. They was maked in big waterdriven powerhammers. This anvil weight about 60 kilo (132 Lbs), it´s about the bigger who normaly was produced this way. But im have another very unique forged anvil it´s wight about 85 kilos. In the future it´s come a video with that anvil to.

  • The waist on the anvil was so high i thought at first it was something that was for another purpose. The first thing that came to mind was that it belonged on the wharves where large ships would dock and use this to tie off to. I'm not making fun, its a beauty, just a little tall looking.

Great job and keep on forging!!! Hello from Canada!

  • @Lidskjalf LMAO

  • @Lidskjalf hahahahaha

  • Nice anvil - never seen one with such a tall base before.

  • sabato 40-1 wery good:) polisch blacksmith

  • Ooops, I'm so sorry...I beg your pardon! Low resolution and your early teen face fooled me, now I've seen the new videos and I feel so stupid...this wasn't the first time for me, one of the Hanson singers and the singer of the "Tokio hotel" fooled me as well, must change my eyeglasses...
