Digital short on the construction of the Pyramids in Egypt. I know I screw up in the narration. And I know I screw up calling it "Western Civilization" I made this in less than an hour, as an alternative to taking a math final in college a few years ago.

I didnt say here was an alien conspiracy. Before you get all self righteous listen again. I said it is one of the many explanations people give for their existence. I didnt say that was the absolute answer, or thats what i believe. And I also eluded o the fact that the Egyptians were onto mathematics IE the Golden Ratio CENTURIES prior to the Greeks.

Interesting observation " jaroma77 " , but have you ever considered that these pyramids, as well as the pyramids of Bosnia, China, The Americas, Grece, Bimini, Japan, the ones on the Moon and on Mars - were built thousads of years before anyone ever thought about writing the Bible story? Personally, I strongly believe that they were built by " GIANT CUCARACHAS" from the ghetto ! But then again, it's what we believe in that makes life so interesting .....don't you think so?

I believe in the theory that the Great Pyramid contains biblical and geometric truths in its measurements and chambers. I was also convinced by a documentary that the sphinx once had a lion head ("the Lion of the tribe of Judah", Jesus) that was later reshaped by a pharao(?) to depict himself. I even believe that the once waterproof pyramid could've withstood the waters of the Flood, but I lean towards the pyramids being built long after orthodox history claims they were (Isaiah 19.19, KJV).

The blocks are not that perfect all the way up. There is up to 6 inches between some stones. The builders would fill the spaces with gypsum mortar. The charcoal used to heat the gypsum is partly what is used to date the pyramids.

@graphixkillz and in response to the accuracy, we could easily rebuild them to within a sixteenth of an inch of accuracy if we were given the time to do so. but we forget they weren't built in a rush as we build things today. they were built by followers of a god. how much care would you take if you knew that your care would be rewarded with eternal bliss? its just all so simple the mind rejects the answers.

how they were built: a method so simple the current intellectual mind rejects the answer. a pyramid is the most remedial architectural structure. it holds itself up, children build them all the time with their blocks. children also play with the most simple way to move something: a fulcrum and lever, or a teeter totter. everyone is looking for such complex answers they miss the ease with which a person can move a block many times their mass.
