2008 American Crossword Puzzle Tournament Finals Part 1 of 4

The 2008 American Crossword Puzzle Tournament was held in Brooklyn for the first year after being held in Stamford, CT for the past 30 years. The three competitors making it to the finals of the "A" division were Tyler Hinman, Trip Payne, and Howard Barkin.




Tyler Hinman competes to win a record four straight victories.

There is a bit of a sadness when it comes to stupid people. I love crossword puzzles, but am also an excellent athlete. There a very few people who are good at everything they do, but I am one of them.

Nothing wrong at all, but when I think of someone at a crossword puzzle tournament, I just automatically think of Star Trek,geeks, etc. That being said, I'm a giant Star Wars nerd and like doing cross words....I just happen to suck at them.
