BMW 5 Saloon

Extraordinary design, luxury, perfection and a lot of technical highlights "made in Germany" - that stands for the new BMW 5 Saloon. The 6th generation of this model-line presents several news: The frontline is made in rememberance of the big breother, the BMW 7. At a total length of 4.86 m the newcomer stays significantly below the 5-meter-mark. Under the bonnet there are some changes too: An 8-cylinder and three 6-cylinder-petrol-engines plus two Diesel-powerplants - also 6 cylinders - will be available from the very first sales-start. Safety and comfort do not come off badly due to numerous driver-assistance-systems. But who wants to drive the new one has still to be a little bit patient, cause it will be with the dealers' only around springtime ...

I don't dislike the way the 5 looks, but it seems to have an identity crisis with it's siblings.

I would prefer that it had some more defining characteristics to distinguish it from other BMW models.
