@sm0keshell Its a quote from Rudolph Von Ribbontrop. He was a tank commander on the German side. I don't really agree with every aspect of it, having been in a war zone before, but, the point I was trying to make was that even though they did it for the wrong reasons, these pilots had immense bravery.

You talk about USAF , U.S.M.C . U.S Army and U.S Navy in Vietnam?
Napalm/Gasoline bombs burnig Civilians or IDF and IAF killing palestinians with White Fosforus Shells and Bombs....
Because even Allied Troops kills Civilians in WW2 but winners never respond for their crimes , German civilians die from Bromberg Massacres in 1939 to 1950 by Ocupation Armies of all Allied Nations.

No.. Soliders that bayonetted babbies, set gasoline fires to live civllians etc etc were not heros. Some soliders were heros and some werent.
