The Bamboo Orchestra located in Mesomagor is a world class orchestral and dance group isolated in a small village on the border of Kakum National Park in Ghana, West Africa. In order to keep youth employed, the orchestra performs for visitors as part of an eco-tourist package which can include an overnight stay on a tree platform in the jungle canopy. Kakum National Park is a beautifully preserved piece of jungle that is home to forest elephants and several other species of large mammals.
