Federal prosecutors agreed to dismiss misdemeanor possession charges against a man who was caught smoking marijuana outside a tribal casino in Leelanau County.

If we just legalized it, we'd correct so many issues that it causes now. It's causing problems because it's illegal! Government saving money, less people go to jail, more money is generated, new industry is created, win&win, what do we got to lose!?

@VulcanXL I know that and nah it has a pleasant smell some do like the good ones and good taste. Some people choose not to smoke cannabis or just smoke it once but hey big companies want them to come back and theyll do anything to do that.. Tobacco companies already proved that.

There is no need for them to add anything. Cannabis by itself is better than Alcohol and Tobacco combined. Because it is all natural and gives you a High Effect with no lethal or permanent side effects. The only thing you can do to improve it is how it smells or tastes.. that's it.

@VulcanXL yuppp i would much rather grow it in my own house cause i don't trust big industries trying to get money and making the cannabis grow faster with chemicals and also adding addicting chemicals to it like ciggaretts to make people come back and get more.. but i definatly agree

Then why can't the alcohol industry get on it as well? I bet it is easier or cheaper to grow Marijuana than to make beer? And they can make the Cannabis stronger or weaker depending on the natural conditions they provide.. So..they can have a variety of different kinds and sell them at different prices... Not everyone is going to grow it in their house, not everyone is going to do it... It'll all balance itself at the end...but we are too stupid to admit it.

Um...then those companies need to hop onto the bandwagon...duh! The Paper industry can make paper using hemp then. The clothing industry can start making clothes out of hemp... Common sense doesn't run in the business industry, does it? Thing need to change, Obama wanted to create change, yet all he has done was carry the same routine as everyone else before him, except the health care law, which some parts are illegal.

You didn't answer about my fruit and vegetables. Second of all, not everyone would grow it and those who don't, but want it, either buy it fro their friends or from a store.. There...and so what if they don't make money? They save money by enforcing something else than some plant. No more victimless criminals going to jail sort of thing, you know? The government can't think about all possibilities, they see only one and then tunnel vision all the way.
