Personally, I don't mind the term "disabled". Im old enough to remember being called crippled. Thank the Lord I don't hear that anymore when people refer to me.
There is no such thing as "disabled people". I hate that expression. Many people (like myself!) have a disability, or are physically challenged, but we are not "disabled"! That's insulting. The word "disabled" mean something that doesn't work at all, which is clearly not the case with physically challenged people.
