  • Its what you learn from it and get out of it thats inportant. And if your martial arts teach you to be ignorant, hatefull, agressive, disrespectfull and a total A-hole then you don't even deserve to have an opinion here. Just go and get another hobby like stampcollecting or counting your braincells for all i care. TSD teaches me discepline, focus and self defence. Most of all it teaches me to be humble and respectfull. Bullshit and not constructive comments will be deleted.

  • This is to all poeple talking shit and trash her. I got one word of advice. GET A LIFE. If you dont like it dont watch it and get educated before posting things that are not right. I didn't post this to be bashed at by haters and poeple who think they know it better. Not even for jock type guys who think that their martial arts is beter then Tang Soo Do. Every martial arts got something to teach every one of you. I respect other martial arts because that is what my Sabunim (teacher) taught me.

  • could someone tell me wht belt u learn this form at, im kinda new to TSD lol

  • @mrthatone9uy

Just google TSD or look up a school in your local area. I know 2 sites but they are in dutch and are from my school. Most schools you can go and watch and ask if you can participate for a lesson to see if it is something you lke.

  • @ all you poor uninformed souls. Read your history. TKD and TSD are splits from the same fabric. Though various forms of martial arts had been practiced for centuries in Korea prior to 1945, they both emerged at the end of the Japanese occupation of Korea. The founding fathers of both studied Japanese and Okinawan Karate, added in Tae Kyun (which is a now defunct foot only brawling technique) and their own specialties and founded the original 8 schools of martial arts in Korea in the 20th centu

  • @YoJace Sounds more like falsification for these masters to promote their crafts in order to get more followers. Besides, the only person that managed to save taekkyeon was Song Deok Gi while Shin Han Seung was its promoter.

  • @YoJace i 100% agreed with you..!!

  • @ 6arcsn1sky - "None of the Korean masters never knew taekkyeon before the 70's"

At least two people are documented as having studying Tae Kyun prior to the 70's. One, Hwang Kee, founder of Tang Soo Do and later Soo Bahk Do. Every Tang Soo Do derivative documents he did this prior to 1945.

Kim Moo-Hong, from Hapkido, was also documented as having learned a kicking-only art. Though it was not named, many believe it to be Tae-Kyon.

  • @YoJace None of the Korean masters never knew taekkyeon before the 70's.

  • @bklyncosanostra all martial arts use some similar forms. martial art has been around for thousands of years and is always changing and adapting from learning from one another.

and jap is an offensive word you fucking moron

  • Really nice demostration. Makes me wonder why I keep hearing crap about Karate. Looks fluid, dynamic, and most of all solid defense.

  • HI would anyone be kind enough to do a video for chil sung 1 please as i am finding it hard to learn :D

  • @BieberChik2010 yes thats the greatest thing every student will learn after many years of practicing...you learn to respect even your opponent
