Re-Released for what would have been her 30th birthday... http://www.AlexsWish.com
Before my sister Alex lost her battle with Cancer, she was granted a wish by the Make-A-Wish foundation. All she wanted was for people to not look at kids who were bald, in a wheel chair, or just looked different. Her wish turned into an award winning PSA. The coolest part is that even know Alex is no longer with us, I can still hear her voice in this video. And I still cry every time I hear "Wind Beneath My Wings" that was generously granted permission for use by Bette Midler, her management, and record label.
"Try a smile, we could use it" - Alex Graham
My sister told me this video was playing again on TV in Detroit not to long ago. I had the opportunity to meet Alex many times as my son Kyle (the one with the pacifier) is in the video. She was a beautiful young lady.

I am so sorry for the loss of your amazing sister, Rob. I'm posting this on my Facebook page now. I think her Make a Wish was also amazing, and so selfless..what a wonderful young woman. I had cancer when I was 17, but it's 50 plus years later, and I'm still here. I was one of the lucky ones. My sister died from what started out as breast cancer, 15 years ago, at age 52. Thank you so much for this.
