Power Rangers: The Beginning

The evil empress Rita Repulsa had escaped and is about to destory the Earth. In order to stop this from happening Zordon recruits five teenagers with attitude to defend the world, the only thing is they don't believe him.

This spoof of the Power Rangers is based on the first ever episode 'The Day of the Dumpster' and is the first part in a three part mini series entitled 'Power Rangers vs Global Warming.'

Honestly, where are the jokes? I couldnt tell if this was meant to be taken seriously or funny. the only way its funny is when its so bad its good (things like the foil on Rita), but thats not enough to carry a parody.

What's funny is that is exactly what we were going for, it was supposed to be funny because it was taken seriously if that makes sense - in the same way that the actual show is,in the sense that it takes itself seriously but in reality is quite funny.

That's fine, but I think it would help to make it even more ridiculous with more tongue in cheek jokes. exagerate the campyness more.
