This is a demo of a gaffed blackjack shoe, used to cheat the players in casinos. Of course, you don't have to worry about this sort of crooked gambling equipment being used against you in a regulated casino on the Las Vegas Strip, but in illegal underground gambling dens this is definitely a possibility.

This dealing shoe is commonly called a prism shoe. The dealer is capable of peeking at the top card and then deciding whether to deal the top or the second card instead. Since this shoe can be used to "deal seconds" it is also called a second-dealing shoe or a two-shoe.

In this demo I just show you how to peek at the top card, before it is being dealt. Then, on two occasions I decide to push the top card back, into the holdout clip, and "deal seconds" instead.

It usually takes me 2 to 5 weeks to make this kind of shoe, depending on the options. Some shoes have locking mechanisms, that disable the gaff, so that it appears to be a regular shoe to the outside world. This one does not have this locking feature, though.
