This is our RebirthAuto demo car with a 120V 105Ah AGM System, using the Brand New EVnetics Soliton1 Controller and a NetGain Warp9 Motor. It is, as you can see, very quick, and easily overwhelms the bug's poor 200mm SACHS clutch. Visit our website at WWW.REBIRTHAUTO.COM for more kit info, or WWW.EVNETICS.COM for more controller info.

  • In my country that's illegal too, you could spent long time and much money to the bureaucracy to test and record that in the public registry, but that's will be not possible...sorry I live in Italy, lovely country but political like shit... here is a mixture of fascists and communists and call it democracy! I love your people and your free minds! Here people walk like horses with blinders, here we can be happy only in a time of day: when we eat spaghetti...

  • Could this system be put in a fairly well equipped 70's VW camper (being a heavier vehicle)? What kind of range?

  • Prius drivers are faggs.

  • @gio59con love the spaghetti statement....

  • so he reached 88mph and crossed the timeline)

  • This thing took off much faster then any 1600 dual port would have.. Although i gotta be honest i kinda love the classic sound associated with these old VW's, but your setup is sweet!

  • Looks cool, but i am not a fan of chopping up the metal in my bug. It is only original once. If they made a kit that fit without cutting the apron or any other metal, and was quick with good range I would be all over it.

  • Awesome!

How much range do you get out of that? I work for Corvus Energy, we build 6.5 kWh Lithium Polymer batteries for marine applications and I am thinking of building some sort of rat bug for fun. I need top speed of 80 mph and 50 miles range for my commute, mostly on the freeway. Our modules are 48 V at 140 ah with huge peak amp discharge characteristics, so I am figuring a 144V system with as much acceleration as possible.

    Is 140 ah enough?

  • @gio59con I never heard any Italian would said something like that (faschists and comunists), and that (horses with blinders), but I must agree at some point with that statement. Which does it means you are above everage Italian. If more people like you would live, maybe someday there will be no faschist, comunists, and other groups. I live in Slovenia, so I know what bad politics is (right now, and before) and how divide people into counterfighting groups. Italy is indeed lovely country (too).

  • Too bad I'm six foot eight.
