Preview of Power Flow's latest project, a Power Flow Tuned exhaust for the Robinson R22 Helicopter. FAA Certification is pending and is expected no later than 8/15/10. This video was shot in June 2010 over the same day with the original Robinson exhaust installed in the morning and then the Power Flow Tuned exhaust installed and flown in the early afternoon. The Helicopter was at the same weights for each flight, but the outside air temperature was 10 degrees hotter for the Power Flow flight. With the original exhaust, the Helicopter could barely hover, but the Power Flow, it was much easier without going over the engine manifold pressure limitation. We also show the difference in speed at maximum continuous power (5 + knots) and that it takes 2-2.3 inches lower manifold pressure to go 75 KIAS with the Power Flow.
