just so things are clear - the question at the end is in reference to the song from team america. also, if anyone thinks i dont enjoy a good bay flick then ponder this: how did realize that the films had this in common? by watching them. just like every film maker, bay has good films (the rock by far the best) and bad films (like pearl harbour). I am merely pointing out its funny that he HAS to have this shot in every movie.

ANYTHING can be a form or art. But the point was, that there are many ways and reasons to make movies. Some do it because they want to tell a story, some want to deliver a message, some just want to entertain, some do it just for money, and some use movies to paint their art. And obviously Mr Bay wants just to entertain the audience, make them have a good time - and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it's just good to have some fun instead of being so uptight all the time ;)

Michael Bay knows how to make a great hit every 2 years...people who can't accept the fact he's good at what he does are just not open-minded and should stick with watching those "8 and a half", "400 Blows" arthouse bullshit.
