Cool. I have a 63 Dodge with a slant six, and I kept it that way to be different (a big V-8 would have been too much like what everyone else does.
Your ride is even more different with a slant in a bowtie. I like it.

Glad to see something different! The /6 in your Chevy is cool and way better than another 350/350 combo:yawn:::
On the other hand I always hear people talk about how they are building something different like a Dodge or Plymouth. Then they defeat the purpose by putting a small block Chevy in it. It does not make sense to do that when so many 318's are FREE out there. Mopars only deserve Mopar engines!
The Mercury truck with the Mopar engine is a great idea;)

Because I had the slant in the garage, I got tired of seeing the same thing over and over again at all the shows and the tunnel rammed 360 I have in the garage is going in my 53 Merc pick up but if it will make you happy I will pull out the slant and reinstall the dime a dozen 350/350 combo and make it just like every other car at the goodguys show. The car now also has a narrowed 59 Impala dash and a set of 54 Packard tail lights.
