Firstly:
After about 13:30 for some reason unknown to me the audio completely goes out of sync with the video haha i have no idea why but it confuses people so i like it! :)

Right so this is a new tutorial showing you how to make those nice hoovery type "phweeoweoeowoww" noises using just the 3x osc. this was requested by 'otakuoverdrive' so enjoy dude.

Also as i know most people on here flick through videos and complain their too long
ive also included an flip below because some people are just too lazy to do it themselves :)
silly individuals!
wheres the fun in that!

anyway....

  • Usually a hoover is made with two squares and some white noise. I'm figuring "stereo detune" is sort of a watered down version of pulse width modulation (pwm), which I tried to emulate using the "fat mode" in the function tab, which works sometimes if you turn the feedback all the way up and time all the down, but in this case stereo detune seems to do the trick. Good video, keep em coming.

  • Nice hover m8. Keep up the good work

  • This video is amazing thanks a ton dude! I wouldn't have figured out layering without ya!

  • I remember a time before I had the right headphones and I was playing around with the osc along with spectrum analyzers and visual eqs I nearly drove my flatmate mad. I usually tweak some knobs and play random melodies in the low and high register. He finally chimes in and goes "dude, if you're going to play around, press the black keys. That's where they discovered blues you know." I go, "yeah, but I fuckin hate the blues." He then lent me money for headphones. Now I love the blues. :)

  • Nice tutorial.. nice to see somebody who explains things in depth rather than just clicking buttons on a screen :-)
