Eh, you won't find a more fanatical defender of personal freedoms than myself, but even I don't think this was anti-free speech. He never said anything about needing to shut these people up or anything, he just pointed out that there are some very sad, strange people out there. And yes, I do support the rights of racists to be racist, homophobes to be homophobic, militant gays to be militant gays, and any other wild opinion. I also support my right to mock the hell out of them.
