I think they should lock in the spray patterns of the water(weld the things in place if you have to) and get the people out!!!!!! We don't need martyrs holding the hoses etc.... Put the cooling jets/spray on automatic by any means possible!!!!!

Then you can re-use the same water and recycle it back up, from the tunnel to cool for a while while preperations to PERMANENTLY encase/sarcophogize the plants is devised.....
