Les Paul pioneered use of layering guitar parts one atop another, a technique also referred to as multitracking or sound on sound recording. He also speeded up the sound of his guitar. It's just wonderful to hear this again! I remember when it came out. Les Paul is alive and well in New York and performs every Monday night, two shows! Age: 90+
