Danza tradicional del Distrito de Huamantanga, Provincia de Canta, Departamento de Lima.

"Esta danza representa a los antiguos guerreros de la región que se presentan a saludar la sagrada imagen (de la Virgen del Rosario) con coreografía de estilo marcial. Ésta se repite durante el traslado por las calles o mientras visitan la casa de algún devoto" (Manuel Ráez)

"This dance portrays the ancient warriors of the region, who perform choreography in a martial style before the statue of the Virgen del Rosario. This choreography is repeated while the dancers pass through the streets or visit a sponsor's house.
