If USA ever hosted the RWC it would boost popularity of the sport. The US has the potential to dominate world rugby. Just imagine if American Footballs top athletes converted to rugby learnt the skills and trained specifically for rugby

@bluesbaby4126 Canadian football fields are... *hint hint*
It's a bigger sport here anyways

I hope the 2019 Japan RWC gos good because its the first world cup outside of one of the tier 1 (top) nations, i think the irb's biggest concern is "will people turn up?" i hope so im sure the usa would put on an awesome WC, a couple of years ago the all blacks an wallabies were supposed to play a bledisloe cup match at the broncos stadium but they opted for the yokohama stadium in tokyo instead.

@bluesbaby4126 Several NFL stadiums also host FIFA internationals, the question is rather if the playing field will be long enough (several NFL stadiums have the width requirement down, well, the ones that host FIFA internationals anyway). Some MLS stadiums even host RWC qualifiers, so I feel that there are some NFL stadiums that could be approved to host. The only downside is that the in-goal areas might be a bit smaller than what we're used to, but within IRB standards
