Yes, there's no way two female APBTs could be in this situation if their rank was in question. The red dog does subtiley challenge the black by staring at her when she eats and getting close to steal items, so I always supervise them when high value items are out. I crate the red one when I'm gone as well. I had the red one for almost a month before I allowed them to interact, only did brisk walks together prior to that.

How long have you had the black one for?? Is she a foster, or yours.

Both were found recently as strays. The black one was found in June, the tan one about six weeks ago.

Thanks. I tell people that they can find beautiful, stable pit bulls at shelters/rescues, no need to go to some breeder online/in the paper unless you plan to show and are buying from CH parents or some working title with health clearances.
