Hiya! Lovely to hear this!
We have a very good friend who is from Zim. We have camped in Wales with his family for the last 3 years and he sings this when he has had a few Beers round the campfire.
Was looking for this to learn it as a special xmas gift. If i record it, will post it.

Hi...This is totally amazing. As a child I used to perform this song over and over again with my sister acting it out with a fake black eye and all. I see Jeremy Taylor actually ommitted the last verse on youtube after the punch up and was a little disappointed, but thankfully you filled the gap. Thanks so much for taking me back to some very happy childhood memories.

Thanks a lot! I never knew that story, I heard it on the radio around 1970 and probably not again till I found the record available online a few years ago. I don't even know if it was released as a single in the UK if not I reckon he ought to now as a whole new generation would hear it for the first time. If the record company agreed that is...
