Arriving in Berlin Crazy Train Station

This Train station is ome of a kind. Check this out, cause its almost awe striking, sadly you can't feel the ambiance through video but trust me, being in that station makes you feel like your deffinitly in the 2000's.

I love this station. Everytime I go to Berlin I'm in total awe. It's like being in a futuristic movie.

i was in berlin in summer for 6 weeks and i would often get lost confusing the right levels and the two exits... and i'm german!... but there are always loads of helpful personnel and "natives"

... i had the impression, though, that they wasted a lot of space on the one underground shopping level: at both sides there is free space the size of a football pitch with just nothing...

... and I heard its pretty cold in the winter when you have to wait for a train a bit longer...

I live in Berlin and when i saw the plans for the station i thought it was too far away from the centre so didn´t like it - but at the opening it was immediately obvious that the whole situation was changed by the station and its scale. It was a case of `hats off and bow down´ to brilliant architecture. The designer himself was very unhappy that it has not been finished (platforms covered for much longer) even though the materials to do so are stored somewhere. In this case i´m on his side!

I nthink this is the most expensive train station ever made... anyway it's AWSOME . It's light an airport but for trains :-)
