In 1952, seven years before Wilbert Harrison had a huge national #1 hit with the Leiber & Stoller pop masterpiece, "Kansas City", a blues pianist and vocalist from the Houston, Texas area, Little Willie Littlefield, had already recorded the tune and it was called "K.C. Lovin".

A quick look over to the "Related Videos" section to my right, I see that Little Willie Littlefield was still going strong performibng, at least in 2008. Simply Amazing !
