Apparently only those comments agreeable by the uploader are the only ones allowed on his video. Now its time for Dickson City people to voice their opinion.

Here is my view: These people are ridiculous. Its pretty clear that Dickson City doesn't want gun wielding hicks around their town. Please, comment.

Bottom line: There's a time and a place for it.

  • I am a hunter, fisherman, and NRA member. I am the first to support gun rights. We are very grateful for our right to protect ourselves and strive to preserve it. To flaunt it in a restaurant where the majority of the clientele are senior citizens was a little over the top. Socially, people see it as a red flag. You have to understand that Dickson City is a safe town with a low crime rate. For those who feel threatened and want to protect themselves, I suggest a license to carry concealed.

  • hahahahahahahahahaha!

  • well let me ask you. If the Dickerson people don't want black people is that acceptable. After all theres a time and a place. maybe black people make some people feel threatened. open carry is a civil right. if you don't like it, change state law so there is no longer firearms pre-emption. You don't get to decide which civil-rights will be tolerated and which ones you don't like you bigot.

  • Whether your opinion is for or against open carry, the fact of the matter is that open carry is legal in PA without a lisence to carry. A man walking down the street with a sidearm is not breaking the law any more so than an unarmed man and the police have no right to stop and harrass the individual since there is no cause for reasonable suspicion (see Terry Vs. Ohio for reference) LE has no right to request ID, detain, search, or even question an open carry citizen.

  • Very controversial subject, however it's a comfort to me that good law biding citizens are armed. I wouldn't of panicked in this situation. However, I can see Senior citizens

    getting upset in this situation.

  • hey guess what many people think the old west is gone wrong. people have to carry to protect themselves, the criminals aren't going to follow the law. And for the people who don't think people have a right to defend, (one shut the FUCK up, two get over it.)

  • This case is just chock full of a-holes. Overzealous police, fearful self-righteous townfolk, interloping gun nuts, spineless city council representatives, fear-mongering local press. Remind me to stay out of Dickson City (wherever the Hell in PA that is . . . ) But I really wonder about the plaintiffs - middle aged white men with nothing better to do but eat crappy food at OCB, inexplicably strapped, and acting like teenagers when people/police overreact?

  • approximately 2:00 911 call to Dickson City Police regarding PFA Violation against vicitm fron arrest made in september of 2010. Gun taken away from person licensed to carry a concealed weapon hauled out of his own home by person on ARD making false statements! Attorneys cant do anything. Police refuse to do anything - should we have guns in dickson - if we can legally do so yes! My civil rights have been blatantly ignored! I need legal help!

  • I wish open carry was legal in NY, to bad the state is run by damn NAZI's. I would just love to see these new yorkers reactions when they see a guy strapped with a .45 eating next to them at a restaurant.

  • LOL @ gun wielding hicks.

    Someone has a low IQ.

  • The gentlemen in the OCB incident were within thier legal rights and did not break any laws. I am sorry to say that the DCPD are SOL if this goes to a civil court as every single one of thier actions that evening was extremely illegal, violating the civil rights of dozens of people. Perhaps the attention of the matter should not be directed towards these new age civil rights activists but towards the fact that among the multiple LE officers involved, not one of them knew the law.
