This video helped me a lot although I have to watch it every time I need to change a skein. Then I have to watch it 3-4 times before I get it right, but am happy to have it available. Thank you!

what about the loose hanging old yarn? do you just cut it off?

@pomariiS2 any loose hanging ends you'll want to weave in and them trim the ends. If you are not sure how to do this, we do have a video showing you how to weave in ends on the Knit Picks channel.

I've tried this a couple of times. It always ends badly for me.

@downbythebay4 Until you secure your ends and weave them in, the stitches might look a bit loose and messy. Make sure to pull snuggly before you weave in your ends to tighten up loose stitches, if that is what hasn't been working for you. Good Luck and happy knitting!
