@DreamWithMe06 The paint I'm using is fluid acrylics ... which usually is sold in small bottles. Choose a product that is somewhat creamy in texture ... not too fluid. Yes, I do begin with gesso for almost every painting. It gives the surface I'm painting on a good foundation and it allows me to move the fluid acrylics around easily. Since both the gesso and the paints are acrylic I do need to work quickly as they dry fast. Have fun painting!

@knuffeldraakje I've never tried aluminium wrap but art is about personal creative expression ... so try it ... you really can't go wrong and you'll have fun experimenting!
