Lionel GG-1 pulling Amtrak passenger set. I think this is the most striking paint gob for a GG-1, opinions being like belly buttons. Williams trains are a great value for the money.

  • well i did get my gg1 set and thanks to a good friend i got a killer deal on it its a complete postwar #2159w with the rare #2330 gg1 engine with 5 fright cars made in 1950 no i had to do alittle bit of restoreing to it the engine needed to be rewire that i got that done it needed to be restiped did that last night came out ok not bad for the first time doing it my self and it needed a new horn relay i still have to order it im still shoping around cheapest price iv found so far is $75

  • GREAT VIDEO IM TRYING TO GET A POSTWAR GG1 SET NOW THAT NEEDS NONE OR MIN AMONTE WORK

  • i believe that the tuscan red and 5 gold pin stripes is the best look for the GG-1

  • Ditto on your Williams comment. I purchased their 773 Hudson a few years back for $225, it"s still only about $345. I have it running with a drop dead georgeous set of Railchief cars from 1988 I believe. With open spoked drivers it's prettier than the Lionel original. Have their Milwaukee Road set on order.
