One of the singers in this group was Carol Connors, who also recorded under the name Annette Bard, in addition to being a member of The Teddy Bears of "To Know Him Is To Love Him" fame.

GREAT song, 5-star. It kinda raises the question tho : which group was first to capitalise, musically, on the advent of the Skateboard .. these girls, or our legendary heroes Jan & Dean ?? First to call in gets this week's prize .. a framed set of Jan's first-ever pair of (well-used) baggies .. + Dean's first-ever custom skateboard (suitable for wall-mounting only, since it only has 1 wheel left on each end .. he lost the other 2 wheels forever in a bad wipeout, dodging a hop-scotch hodad ..

Aaaah! It's really about a great, quirky song! If it isn't much to begin with a "backdrop" won't bring it up! This is fun! I have a few like this among my favorites!
