i respect soia as the icons they are but this kind of hardcore is too punky for me i prefer some of the newer more metallic bands.

this "kind" of hardcore is the only kind of hardcore. the "metallic" sound u like is metal. not hardcore.

Yeh maybe thats true but then i think of bands like Leeway who were hugely influential but hardly get any credit

in my view, the stimulators were the back bone of NEw york hardcore.
