The weather forecast called for cold and rain. Despite months of obstacles, Michael Grbich arrived at the Brooklyn Bridge at 9am on Sunday, November 26, 2008 determined to tap dance to the other side. He later reflected, I have overcome far bigger obstacles in life than a little bad weather. My motto has been to get out of comfort zones, to take risks. I had to show up today. The risk paid off. Michael was rewarded with an unseasonably sunny and warm day. He triumphantly crossed the bridge cheered on along the way by onlookers. It was his second bridge crossing to promote his cause.
