@Teadon86 The narrator of this video would be proud, but not we! For gods sake, you are in America, don't speak hard whatnot, old chap!

@Andrewlevin Isn't it actually the other way round? that R is pronounced softly and moving towards L. In short you should pronounce R softly with a hint of L. So if you say Ra, it would sound something like rla. also isn't it so that R does have a translation in Romanji whilst it's only B who doesn't? So Vicky should be: bicky.
Actually Horo in Kanji should be the same in Romanji. Horo -> Horo. It's just that Japanese are terrible at speaking and translating words to English.

Hebrews learn it backwards which is absolutely frightening.
My favorite sentence of the whole song XD

@Belmont2500 Well considering OLD ENGLISH is a composition of Anglo Saxon, Old Norse, German, French, and Latin I highly doubt there are many people who understand you because OLD ENGLISH is actually a far throw from the MODERN English we use today. There are three levels of ENGLISH. OLD, MIDDLE, and MODERN. There are communities that still use MIDDLE ENGLISH today. but like Old Norse I thing OLD ENGLISH is pretty much a dead language.

...When you consider that we currently speak like they used to in the 16th century or so, you start to wonder why we're not asking them that question...

personally i like the subbed version better, and Horo just rolls off the tongue better than Holo. But sometimes the subbing's so bad I can't tell what the fuck they're saying, especially when they talk about business transactions, and money and stuff, but since i like the show so much I'm gonna go re-watch the anime dubbed on netflix now

It's Horo, not Holo :/

@otakuphotography not really, i mean because of the way the Japanese language is designed... well basically they prononce their Ls as Rs. so technically her name really is Holo, but the Japanese pronounce it as Horo.
