  • This is beautifully done. My compliments on the video. I hope one day that the people of this country as a whole, and especially the people of the South, realize the great sacrifices made by the Southern people to defend local control and self-government. Slavery was wrong, and nobody doubts it now, but the war that came was not about slavery. It was about power, and that continues today as Washington continues to grab power, opposed primarily still by the Southern States.
