FL Studio - Control

This song is dedicated to all the people who are kept down by the Man.

Control is one of the first songs I ever wrote on FL Studio. It is the first song of my electronica suite, Microcosm. The name itself stems from the fact that this song is one of the first times I finally brought FL Studio under control, but there's more to it I realized.

In this world there is Control. From the highest person to the lowest. Unfortunately there is not a moment in life where we are not under control. This is not likely to ever change, but instead of being sad about it, we can bust out and take control ourselves, if only for a brief time.

The main theme and bass line are an analog for the controlling entity, the piano represents free will. Even though we exist in captivity we can for brief moments shine as we were made to do. This song is a sonic representation of that. Enjoy, and thanks for listening!

Sounds like you answered your own question. Better samples equals better quality. Time for an upgrade :) I'd like to tell you directly what I use but I have to keep my trade secrets proprietary. All I can tell you is to take a look out there for what is available. Break out your pocket book though because they aren't cheap.
