Bolting horse .nasty fall

me falling off a THB horse on my second riding lesson( im fine:) )fortunately i dont remember anything because i was knocked out after hitting the pole really hard.lucky was wearing helmet. i suffered a mild concision and a badly bruised thigh .

Not you're fault. The instructor needs to learn a bit more about horse behavior, let alone how to teach. She caused the horse to bolt off with you, then proceeded to stand and watch the horse bolt and didn't even you talk you through how to deal with the situation. I'd sue her.

i gottah feeling that was a fast canter... could have been. i have galloped a few times now, once was with a bolt, i did what you did. i was hacking though, and came off onto a road. i was fine, and so was my pony. ive then galloped a bit on my old pony, once or twice. however on my new pony, sometimes he does that. he canters quite fast, and all i can do is hang on and try and slow him down. id be terrified if i came off him doing that... anyway, hope you got back on :) and ive seen worse.

Fs people:') why do u crit? never asked for any? and their riding looked nice enough on the trot and they had control of their paces before the horse bolted? maybee they kicked to hard or the horse just spooked? so wattey shut up and leave them alone????

Hope you were ok, but that doesn't look like a very safe place to ride for you second lesson you should have been in a nice arena with no fence posts or trees to knock yourself on! well done anyway!

Wow.... The instructor needs a few lessons. They should've told you to sit up and circle the horse.. Not just sit there..
