@inlovewhonda i might add that you can also flick the clutch in slightly for a super smooth shift. But that does kinda negate the clutchless shifting idea

I have the 2003.
Also beschleunigung is schon echt cool bei der Kilo Gixxer, eigentlich bei jeder Gsx-R ;)

he took off like batman

@inlovewhonda you dont even need to let go of throttle in certain situation, you can go full throttle while shifting.

@TheMonster13579 Hey, i just got myself a gsxr 600 this summer. It's a great bike and has more power than i know what to do with. I'd suggest starting 600 cause the throttle can be really sensitive in low gears and i cant even imagine getting used to it on a 1000 as a first. turning you gotta have throttle control or back will slide out. Anyways, whatever you get cheers and love riding!

bye

@TheMonster13579 trust me don't buy a 1000 to soon get yourself a 250 or a 600 your gonna drop your first bike why make it a Gsxr1000

clutch has nothing to do with shifting gears, it just separates the transmission from the engine to take the load off for smooth shifting. But if you can feel the accelerator properly you can take the pressure away from the gears and you can clutch-less shift. i know some people say its bad for your transmission and stuff. but whoever out there knows how to do it know it even feels smoother than the shifting with a clutch. it doesn't hurt anything at all.

@inlovewhonda yes, there is that super brief sweet spot when u quickly and partially back of the throttle that u can clutchless shift. An instant "twitch" of your hand and foot. Its the only way to accelerate as fast as u can smoothly. Ive found it ends up sounding like an auto trans.

if you can actually find the right spot it doesnt hurt your bike. gears have spaces between them. its just about finding. after riding 8 to 10 years you can feel it. its not that hard...
