2010 F150 Mirror LED Turn Signals Modified

Installed LED's in the forward facing reflectors, and made a small circuit to make them function as turn signals, running lights, and alternate with the OEM turn signals when the running lights are on and the turn signals are flashing.

i have a question .. does it still function as a reflector? or do you have to sacrifice the option of the reflector? (no longer functions as a reflector) I hope i could do both, (work as a turn signal AND a reflector) thinking of putting this on mine

@DJKiDDKlashez it doesn't really do much as a "reflector" to begin with... there's no reflective material inside of the amber plastic piece. it's just a white strip of plastic with a transparent amber lens glued to it. they serve pretty much no purpose on the truck as-is from the factory...

why hook it up to your running lights? why not just hook it into the signal on the back of the mirror?

Im trying to do the same thing as u but I think im going to have to run a separate wire. Right? And where did u splice into?

Nicely done, I have been searching to find exactly what you have done of the alternating method.

Are you willing to share the details of the box you designed to alternate the signal?

Also, did you have to run extra wiring to the mirror?

And where did you purchase the led strips please?
