"This is a song I wrote originally with guitar and vocals trying to capture the slow bluesy feel of the Blues style without the Blues form. I had played some music with a Saxophone player named Lenny Pickett that writes tunes with these relaxing slow tempos and has a killer high register and vibrato. I borrowed a little bit from him and thought about the kind of down and out feeling that everyone knows and you can really see out in the streets. It was an honor and pleasure to play with this great band and especially to play alongside the great mentor and musician, Jim Mc Falls, who is a featured soloist in this tune."
