@daltesta Well how is it played if you know it all, you can also play it like I said in the description. You do know there are more ways than one to play the same notes right? btw look at the live vid of this song that royc7 posted. Sure looks like he is playing it this way right from the very start of the video.

hey in stead of hitting the 19 and 20 fret try hitting the 12 and 13th fret on the low A string. ( idk what string it is when tuned to drop C sorry)

@TheVishal73 dorbin83 is right, those are mutes. Maybe easier to understand is you just lightly lay your fingers across the strings with the fret hand enough to silence the strings but not too hard...not too light. It will take some practice to get the right amount of pressure to get the sound you want. It also makes a difference which frets you do it on, you get a deeper chunkier sound on the lower frets.
