Is it supposed to be squishy?

To be honest, I don't know how it would hold up with shoes, as I never play in them. I can't assume it would have a good rating, though, if it performed poorly.

You say that the Cobalt Flux is better with shoes, how does the ion hold up with shoes? I can't picture myself playing DDR on a metal pad with socks, but I want a pad with a bar (so, ion's the only solid choice)

Hey there! It doesn't make that much noise laterally, but if you live ABOVE people, it may bother them.

Does it make much noise? Thinking about my neighbours...

Hey there! Nice footwork in his video, but I have a question. Do you still own the iOn? How has it held up over the years? See, I'm saving for a metal pad, and so far, you're making the iOn look really good. Thanks!

I do still have my iOn pad back in Florida; I'm up at school in NY in the meantime. It has held up fantastically. I occasionally have to tighten the screws, which takes all of 5 seconds. That said, there has been NO trouble at all with structural integrity. :)
