Latest Obama Fascism -- The Fed Financial Power Grab

Obama and the Democrats -- the Constitution be damned! You know it, even with the now in-the-tank "propaganda news" media stifling any stories of it. You know it ... because one, ONLY ONE, news agency is reporting it -- Fox News ("fair and unafraid"). Here Neil Cavuto interviews law expert judge Andrew Napolitano on Obama's un-Constitutional "remaking" of the U.S. banking system with nothing more than a nod and a wink from the Democrat-controlled Congress:

NAPOLITANO: "There is a couple of premises to it. One is that the government knows best. The other is the Constitution be damned. And the third is there is no private behavior that can escape the government reach if the government can define that behavior as such that it might adversely affect liquidity if it fails."

CAVUTO: "So, to be fair, something did go very wrong last fall. So they want to prevent that. Right?"

NAPOLITANO: "Same crowd. The same mentality, that thought things were great last summer, that didn't anticipate that happening, now says 'we can resolve it by more borrowing, more spending, and more regulation'."

CAVUTO: "Alright, but do you need more policemen, or smarter policemen?"

NAPOLITANO: "I think you need more freedom. I think you need more of the free market. This was caused not by the free market. This was caused by government inducing the free market, for example, to give mortgages to people at artificially low rates who would never be able to pay them back. One of the most incidents aspects of the President's proposal is that the regulator-in-chief will be the Federal Reserve. Neil, the C.I.A.'s job is to steal and keep secrets. We know more about the C.I.A. than we do about the Federal Reserve! It will be that only unregulated, unknown, unknowable bank on the planet! And yet it will be regulating all the others."

CAVUTO: "And many [thought] it had a very active roll in whatever went wrong here. And so your concern that whether you shuffle the chairs around and create a new agency, or whatever, it's still the same guys and the same guys who made mistakes."

NAPOLITANO: "It's the same guys who brought us this mess, with no respect for the Constitution, which says you can't take away property or liberty without a trial. They're going to take away property and liberty by executive fiat!"

CAVUTO: "So, bottom line is you think that government's going to be running the show for quite a few years to come."

NAPOLITANO: "And the definition of that is a very ugly word. Private ownership, government control, is called fascism. They should look at what happened in Europe in the last century. And it's a very unhappy ending."

Reagan grew BOTH government AND the debt. He BORROWED money (expanding the debt) to spend recklessly on military projects (growing government) such as the failed weapons system known as Star Wars.

That being said, this is extremely misleading, as Democrats controled the Congress for the majority of the increases. My final point, and this is again the at least third time I'm saying this, Bush spent like a Democrat. You're criticizing your own policies with him.

Reagon increased the debt by 20.6%

Bush sr increased the debt by 15.0%

Clinton decreased the debt by 9.7%

Bush jr increased the debt by 27.1%

Finally, and you should be happy as you'll probably get the Moron of the Year award for this, how on Earth is it near impossible to raise the debt and expand Government?
