For me the music of Beethoven's late period is the finest he ever composed; and arguably the greatest music ever written. Certainly, I have not heard music of greater emotional depth and complexity.

THIS IS THE PIECE THAT I WANT TO BE PLAYED AT MY FUNERAL....AND EVERY LOVED ONE I HAVE,IF I WILL HAVE IN THE FUTURE,I WANT TO STAND,LOOK ONTO MY CORPSE,AND LISTEN TO THIS INCREDIBLE PIECE OF MUSIC AND THINK OF ALL THE TIMES WITH ME....SOMEHOW THIS THOUGHT IS COMFORTING...!!!!!!

This whole slow movement is so incredible it's hard to pick a favorite part but I think the drama 7:08 onwards is some of the most affecting I know of in music!
