This brief clip is only 3 minutes of a 15 minute extended jam of I Can't Keep From Crying Sometimes, from a live performance recorded in Paris 1973. Half way through this clip Alvin rips into the main riff of Sunshine of Your Love. Play it loud! This performance is just further proof that A.Lee is one of the most underrated blues/rock guitarists ever. Photos are from my personal collection which I shot from a concert in 1971. Comment j'ai pu le rater à Paris alors que j'ai vu les Pink Floyd,Led Zeppelin,Emerson Lake and Palmer,Deep Purple en 73.et les Who en 72 sur une scène française , sans débourser un frifrelin?T.Y.A et le CCR sont ceux que j'aurai voulu voir en concert avec bien sûr les Stones en 73 à Bruxelles.L'année 73 était celle de la musique du Rock'n'Roll en France.

This is actually a track called 'Extension on One Chord'', which is sandwiched between parts 1 and 2 of 'I Can't Keep from Cryin' Sometimes'. I recommend the album 'Recorded Live' for the best version of this. He also does a bit of these same riffs in 'Night of the Guitars'. It's here on YouTube.

BTW - This clip starts off with Alvin playing some Allman Bros. classic licks, then the Cream, Hendrix, and free jammin... pretty good. A lot better than when I saw him live at Hollywood Palladium about the same time but, he was really wasted and very sloppy even on his own "Goin Home"... fun anyway of course good times...
