I agree with The Marauder. Pacquiao attempted several times to entice Clottey into mixing it up by standing in front of him and absorbing his punches. But Clottey never took the bait.

I think Clottey didn't want to get Cotto'd.. The only way in through his impregnable guard was during an exchange, so he refused to open up even when Pac stood right in front of him.. He's already seen that in Pac-Cotto so he knows Pac was trying to draw him out.. He just stuck to his gameplan to defend+potshot = either Pac gets tired or one of the isolated punches hurt him.. He knew it might not happen but was fully prepared to stink up the place with a UD loss.. Like Pac-Barrera II.

Clottey has no heart and he should never be in a main event again. How do you expect to win a fight if you don't throw any punches and I don't care how hard Manny hits. What kind of game plan was that to just be in a defensive shell the whole fight.

the truth is Clottey was hurt in the first round he was intimidated by Pacquiao blinding speed, if he's not hurt he's suppose to absorbed the punches of Pacquiao and trade punches with him but why he didn't? "HE'S AFFRAD TO GET KNOCKOUT"

Clottey did what they (Arum) wanted him to do. He was just a live punching bag Pac, for this fight he mentaly gave up before the fight started, it seemed that he was happy with the 1M payday. At least Cotto went for broke when he fought Pac. Arum, HBO, & Jerry Jones fucked the fans. They will piss down ur back & tell you it's raining. This was a over hyped tune up for Pac. I give him (Pac) credit because he came in ready to fight. Fighting is a mental game, which Clottey was not Mentaly prepared
